Job Overview : This position is responsible for managing and monitoring the entire IT infrastructure utilizing the latest CA technology.

Key Responsibilities

·        Monitor of all network (LAN/WAN) interfaces worldwide including routers and switches.

·        Monitor of all UNIX, NT, AS400 and VMS systems, including backups and IPL's. Monitor of all business critical servers and applications worldwide via Unicenter NSM.

·         Respond promptly to problems that arise during the monitoring of these systems and documenting/escalating them to support according to policy guidelines.

·        Troubleshoot problems in order to assist support in minimizing application downtime.

·        Document work done on a shift and reporting back to management with this information.

·         Assume help desk responsibilities off hours.

·        Mass duplication of products across different platforms. Manage print output devices and queues.

·        Monitor of all mainframe systems, production jobs/schedules, backups, tape mount requests, batch processes and IPL's of systems.

Certifications
MCSE or CCNA certifications a plus. ITIL Foundation desired.
